Monochromatic colors are used as wall paint for a relaxing and smooth transition for the eyes. Analogous colors are the color that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel. An example of this would be the tree trunks and its leaves. Complementary colors are made up of two colors that are completely opposite to each other. This is usually used on sports cars to emphasize a certain part. The triadic color scheme uses three color which are equally away from each other in a triangular shape. This is used to show vibrant colors and emotions. An example of this would be burger kings logo. A split complementary color scheme is the same as a complementary color scheme but has a lot less tension. Examples of this would be bed sets.
